During July and August ’22 we have a Summer giveaway with orders over £25:

Spend £25 or more in the shop (excluding P&P) and you will receive a free ‘Little stack of paper’ with 20 little sheets of assorted papers ideal for backgrounds, mixed media, cutting and sticking in your Bible and journals. These will be added to your parcel when you spend £25 or more on supplies. Patterns and thickness will vary – here’s an example including some of the papers arranged on a page with stencilled leaves over the top, ready for some text to be added:

Forthcoming Events in 2020 available for booking

Half-day Retreat for Lent – Saturday 7th March 2020 – 10am-1pm in Edinburgh

Come and spend a quietly creative half-day retreat in comfortable surroundings with a room full of craft materials to aid your prayer and meditation! We will be using material from the latest Lent course from Bible Journalling UK, ‘God’s Creation Our Concern’, looking at our beautiful world from a Biblical perspective and thinking about how we can live in it well.

The cost is £40 per person including your own copy of the Lent course kit

Or £25 per person if you already have the kit and bring your study journal with you.

The cost includes lots of extra materials on the day, ideas about how to get the most out of the journalling material, tea, coffee and cake.

The November Retreat filled up so fast that I’m running it again in February! The retreat will include:

demonstrations of different approaches and techniques for Bible journalling
Studies to take you through the beautiful story of Ruth
A short talk about journalling with Ruth: “He will renew your life” (Ruth 4:15)

Advent Journalling Retreat Day – Saturday 30th November 10am – 4pm in Edinburgh

Set up a journal and begin your journey with God through Advent. This workshop and retreat day will give you everything you need to get started so that you can arrive at Christmas feeling calm and focussed. The day is ideal for anyone who wants to stop and reflect at the beginning of Advent, whether you are new to creative Bible journalling or have been enjoying time with God in this way for a while.

The day costs £55 per person and includes:

A journal and study notes to take you through Advent
A room full of craft supplies and tips on how to use them in your journalling
Coordinating supplies to take away so you can continue journalling at home
A simple lunch
Tea, coffee and cake
Quiet space by the woodburner in which to pray
Access to the Creative Journalling shop for unique presents and journalling supplies

Saturday 12th October – HARVEST THANKSGIVING WORKSHOP – 10-1pm in Edinburgh.

Come and join us for a peaceful morning of Creative Bible Journalling in a relaxed atmosphere with tea, coffee, cake and lots of inspiring Bible verses and craft supplies to help us give thanks for all the good things of the earth. Each participant will receive a personal journalling set full of beautiful materials to use on the day and then take home with Bible notes and journalling prompts. Everything you need is included – just bring your Bible.

Creative Journalling Advent Retreat Day – Saturday 30^th November 2019 10am-4pm

Creative Bible Journalling is a great way to deepen your relationship with God, increase your understanding of Biblical imagery and enjoy using colour and image as you study His Word. Pictures or images are important. The Bible is full of them! They can show us new things. Exciting visions and ideas begin to open up. We see new angles on ourselves and God. Creative Bible Journalling is a chance to play as well as pray and the two are a powerful combination.

Come and explore Advent themes through creative journalling – the retreat provides everything you need including a journal, study notes, a room full of craft materials, demonstrations, morning refreshments, a simple lunch and a kit of supplies to take home. The Kit consists of an A5 journal with blank pages, Bible study notes with journalling prompts, and a variety of creative supplies to get you started including stickers, washi tape and sticky notes for key verses, prayers and thoughts. Join the chat on the Facebook group and I’ll be posting some You Tube videos nearer the time with suggestions of how to use your kit and how to approach the journalling.
